She-Wolf

she-wolf

She wolf
Alpha being
No need for others approval
She is
Who she is
No need for affirmations
No need for the right to be

She leads the hunt
Walks through the gate first
Fiercely independent
A seer for all
She knows herself fully
Inside and out
Limitations and fears
There are few

She licks her own wounds
As they bleed on the ground

Feeds herself first and takes care of her needs
The balancing act
Of those at her tit
She’s the mother and lover
Aloof when it suits her
Dismissing the needs of a victim in tow
Indifferent when it pleases her so

She knows when she’s needed
For survival of all
And what really matters
To strengthen them all

Contained in self wisdom
Pride in her howl
The voice of authority
Prepared to endow
Rarely speaks out
But stands strong in herself

She sees through the mask
Of endulgence and lies
Ready to fight for the needs of her clan
For no shadow escapes
from those predator eyes
she listens she waits
awakened to life

Wild in her nature
she is the lone wolf,
the female,
the wild the primal
historic
Quietly standing
aside of it all
yet knowing the landscape
sure-footed and tall
Awaiting the moment
That time will tell
Integral and patient
Aligning her self
With nature

With love
With the right to be free!

About Caroline Carey

Caroline is an English Grandmother and an aspiring crone~elder, an author of four books, a speaker and innovative and creative teacher, offering her work via workshops and gatherings online as well as internationally. By adapting the religious education insisted on by her family, she was able to recognise her own innate connection to God/Spirit and has been on a spiritual path since childhood. She is a champion of music, dance and poetry as healing tools since she was four years old and developed an innate understanding of the soul’s journey, a connection to physical embodiment through movement, theatre and the creative arts. Her work is harmonious with nature. Her journey has manifested as her own personal training into eldership and crone-hood, carrying the wisdom needed for stability and balance in individuals, relationships, families and communities. Mothering her six, now adult, children, gave Caroline the art of play, creativity, story-telling and opened up the deep surrender and unconditional love that motherhood can bestow. Caroline has trained in many modalities of dance, therapeutic and spiritual teacher trainings since 1986. She is a writer who has published her autobiography and four other books about her spiritual work. Her latest book, 'Middle Earth Wisdom' will be published soon. She lives in UK with her husband Ben Cole, a film-maker, a director who works with men’s initiation groups. They often offer work together, incorporating dance, presentation and film. Caroline is: A mother and grandmother A writer and poet A dancer A spiritual life coach A catalyst for change She is available to you for guidance

Beautiful poem, from the heart of She wolf…thank you Caroline. I feel strongly drawn to wolves since my young age…deep connection I cannot explain! I long to meet Helene Grimaud and be with her as she is with them.. They spellbind me and I can watch them in silence as if they are part of me and me part of them. As if we know each other’s deeper selves… I cannot explain really… When I read the poem, I could tune in to the wolve she being, just being, trully and fully self… amazing. Thank you… I’d love to be with wolves right now…

    • Thank you Patrice, we clearly have very similar affinities with the wild, yes I too have a deep love and am mesmerised by the intelligence and grace of the wolf
      Tuning in we are 🙂
